Intro to Digital Audio Recording is intended to help participants develop an understanding of digital recording concepts and the music technology tools that will allow them to accomplish their songwriting, recording and musical goals. This course begins with a thorough overview of the free audio editing software Audacity, a sound editing program that can be used to record, edit, process and master sound files, and will prepare students for more complex digital audio workstations such as Garageband, Pro Tools, Logic and Sonar.
