To participate in ROKSTRA, we require a live or taped audition.
For the Fall 2011, Live Auditions will take place between April 1-June 30, 2011. To schedule a live audition please complete the ROKSTRA Application form below, and list LIVE AUDITION under audition type. We will then contact you to schedule an audition at your high school
For the Fall 2011, Online Auditions are now open until June 30, 2011. To submit an online audition, please complete the ROKSTRA Application form below, and list ONLINE AUDITION under the audition type. Please upload your video to Youtube, and email the file to: cvuk@schoolofgroove.com. Include “ROKSTRA AUDITION” on your email heading. Please list the names of the pieces that your submitting.
Audition Requirements
2 Contrasting Pieces (3-5 minutes each)
Audition selections can range from classical pieces such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, or contemporary selections such as jazz standards, Hendrix, Beatles, Metallica.
